Born 30/12/86, Charlie lives in Newmarket.

He started playing roller hockey in 1998 for Cambridge, stayed with Cambridge three years before moving to Bury RHC in 2001.

Steadman has been playing intermediate, schoolboys and division III.

He represented the Eastern Counties since 2000 at intermediate level, and is currently in the National Schoolboys Squad (last 10), and will hopefully represent England at the European Schoolboys Championships in 2002.
