He was the beloved Husband of Maryanne Sweeney of Riverside and Ship Bottom, to whom he was married for 38 years.
John was very interested in Roller Skating and was always a smiling face at the Holiday Skating Center in Delance, New Jersey for many years.

John and Maryanne's children all skated in the 70' & 80's and took lessons at the Holiday Skating Center.

The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be on Saturday at 10:30 AM at St. Peter's R.C. Church, Bridgeboro and Hancock Streets in Riverside.
Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetary in Riverside.

Visitation will be today, Friday from 5 to 9 PM and on Saturday from 9AM to 10AM at the Sweeney Funeral Home, 337 Bridgeboro Street, Riverside, New Jersey.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to St/ Peters R/C/ Church, PO Box 248, Riverside, New Jersey or to the Connor P. Casey foundation for Autism, 7 Chase Road, Lumberton, NJ 08060 John will be missed by many in the Skating community as well as countless others in Riverside and other areas.
