You may find it hard to believe, but the New version 6 of Netscape comes to you with an "accidental"? security flaw. (actually Several).
When you initially start Netscape 6, it WILL set itself up as a SERVER on the internet, as well as being a Browser for you to surf the net!
Unless you are protected by a Firewall, (and it reports the "accidental" security defect), you are not even ASKED if you want NS 6 to become a Server!   Now, it Does seem reasonable that if I can discover this security flaw, Others can as well.   AND they Can access your computer through one of the many ports you have, at will!
Do you get a lot of unauthorized "pop-up" menus from Netscape while in NS6?   Do you receive large quantities of unsolicited ads when using NS6?   Is there unexplained "disk activity" when you are surfing in NS6?
