THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN JOINING THE RS WEB NETWORK AS A REGIONAL SITE

To be processed into the RSWEB as an Official Regional Site, (SPEED, HOCKEY, EXTREME, AGGRESSIVE, ETC. (AND the ARTISTIC GREAT LAKES REGIONAL SITE), please read the following and then CLICK on the link at the bottom of this page to fill out the Application Form.

Effective immediately, there will be SEPERATE Regional Sites available for all disciplines.
There will shortly be a new Application Form posted to allow the selection of which discipline(s) an individual may choose to have.
(Disciplines are, ARTISTIC, SPEED, HOCKEY, EXTREME, AGGRESSIVE, ETC.)

NOTE - There is only ONE Regional ARTISTIC Site open. The Great Lakes Region. All other Branches of Regional sites are available. (SPEED, HOCKEY, EXTREME, AGGRESSIVE, ETC.)
An individual or club may apply for as many branches of the Sport as they can handle, Provided the individual or Club has the time and the information gathering abilities to handle more than one discipline in a State. They may apply for and receive the State Site that represents their choice(s), PROVIDED the site disciplines are not previously taken. The duties of a State Site are to list all items that pertain to their chosen discipline (branch) of Roller Sports.
These inlude Club, League, State and other contests, as well as general information about their branch of the Sport.

The logos on all US State and Regional Sites will be changed to reflect the Actual Information being provided on the particular site. Until then, please ASK if you want to represent a certain Branch of our Sport.
NOTICE - ALL Regional sites of ALL Disciplines (Branches) MUST provide a link to all other Branches of Regional Sites IN THEIR REGION ONLY.
For Example- the Eastern Region ARTISTIC Site must provide a link to the Eastern Region HOCKEY, SPEED, EXTREME, ETC. Site(s) in the Eastern Region ONLY. This link MUST be on the Regional HOMEPAGE.
The reason for this requirement is to provide the user with the knowledge that there are SEPERATE Regional Sites for each discipline or Branch of our sport.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SITE MEMBERSHIP IN RS WEB)

Applicants for Regional Web Site Status must agree to the following:

In order for you to be processed into the Web, please Read this entire message and then go to the link to the Application Form at the bottome of this page.

Your application will designate your agreement to honor these rules.

Applicants for Regional Site Status no longer have to use the same layout as all others, as previously required.

The only restrictions are that the Logo and the US Flags for the Regional Site must be displayed on the Homepage, so that it is visible when the user first enters the site.

(Must be on the First Screen that the user sees).

The requirement for use of the uniform background no longer applies.

A Link to the "Other Regions" of the rsweb must also appear on the Homepage as above.

All applicants must further agree to provide a link to the National Office, USA/RS somewhere on their site.

ANY site is welcome to use any graphic on this Eastern Regional Site, EXCEPT that no site may use the Copyrighted Logo without permission of the RSWEB, or Dave Festa, nor may they use any other graphic that is marked as Copyrighted without the permission of the listed owner thereof.

(RS WEB MEMBERSHIP LISTING)

It is Required that each Regional Site link to the rsweb membership listing page at http://www.rsweb.org/rsweb.htm rather than maintain a separate listing on their own site.

This listing is updated as new members join, and linking to it from the main RS Website insures an automatically accurate, up-to-date listing.

THE FOLLOWING IS TO INSURE THAT THERE IS NOT MORE THAN ONE LISTING OF OFFICIAL REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPOR OFFICIAL STATE CHAMPIONSHIP INFORMATION ON SITES IN THE RS WEB. ANYTHING BELOW, THAT YOU MAY PERCIEVE TO BE CONTRADICTORY TO THIS IS SUPERCEDED BY THIS STATEMENT.

The RS Web has committed to the National USARS that ALL sites in the RS Web will "link" to the National Web Site for all Official National Championships placement information, and NOT list that information seperately on their site(s).
This does NOT prohibit listing Individual or Club National placements on any site

REGIONAL SITES may not list Official STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS information seperately on their sites.
(Unless there is no STATE SITE yet in their Region)
Regional sites MUST "link" to the Official STATE SITE for that information.
Any REGIONAL Site that has such information should forward it to the appropriate STATE site for listing, as above.

NOTE, Nothing in the foregoing prohibits an Associate, State or Regional site from agreeing to allow each other to list the subject information, and have the other site(s) link to them. Listing of individual or club placements in State, Regional or National Championships is NOT PROHIBITED by the above.

(ACCEPTANCE OF ADDITIONAL SITES)

Acceptance of Associate or State sites are solely the individual Regional Sites decision.

Any Regional Site that accepts a State or Associate site into the RS Web, shall forward to the rsweb Webmaster within 3 days, the following information for the Logo:

(STATE SITEJ
1) State joining the web,

2) Club or Rink hosting the site.

3) The Branch(es) of Skating applied for (Artistic, Hockey, Etc.)

4) The Internet Address of the site (URL)


(ASSOCIATE SITEJ
1) City & State of site,

2) Club or Rink hosting the site.

3) The Branch(es) of Skating applied for (Artistic, Hockey, Etc.)

4) The Internet Address of the site (URL) NOTE, With the new logo design, the colors are fixed and cannot be changed to customize the logo for sites.

The decision to place any Advertising on the site, or to handle any such advertising, is the sole decision of the Individual Site Owner(s).

In the event that a Regional Site leaves the web for any reason, all Regional, State & Associate sites must agree to remove links to those sites as REGIONAL WEB SITES only. Links to them as standard skating sites is at the discretion of the Individuals.

The above agreements are to insure an orderly operation of this RS Web, and as such, agreement with all items listed is necessary for membership.
