NEW VIRUS - kernelsys32.exe
Do not open an attachment to an email from "patron" (aka GOP). This attachment is infected with the virus kernelsys32.exe. At the moment it is not known exactly what it will do to your computer, but any virus that attacks a Kernel is attacking at the root of the system.
More information will be posted as it becomes available.
NEW VIRUS - W32/Myparty.a@MM
If you receive an e-mail message with the subject, "new photos from my
party!," don't click on what appears to be a link to yahoo in the message.
It's not a link but rather an attachment with a virus. The virus has
spread rapidly.
McAfee users can download the SDAT99332b file from the Help Desk website:

Norton users should download the update file from:
http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/download.html
IF YOU DID CLICK ON THE LINK, your computer is most likely infected.

To remove the virus, you need to update your McAfee or Norton Anti-virus software and then perform a full system scan.
After you download the file, double click on it to install it. Please
note that there are additional removal instructions for Windows ME users on the
McAfee website listed above.
